By Behind The Scenes Makeup @BTSMakeup

Zac Posen

At Zac Posen, Kabuki and his team created a look comprised of super long lashes, a defined crease and a customized matte, peach/orange lipstick.

Key Makeup Artist: Kabuki for MAC

Timo Weiland

I love the “sun burnt” cheeks at Timo Weiland!! The rest of the face was kept neutral and matte to let the richly colored cheeks take focus.

Key Makeup Artist: James Boehmer for NARS

Thakoon

Strong brows and heavy contouring was seen on the models walking in Thakoon’s show. The skin was given a dewey consistency and the lips were lightly defined with NARS’ Belle De Jour Velvet Matte Lip Pencil.

Key Makeup Artist: Diane Kendal for NARS

Patrick Ervell

At Patrick Ervell’s show, models were given defined brows and cheeks, and ruby red lips.

Park Choon Moo

The makeup color scheme at Park Choon Moo was neutral but the look was strong. The contouring was heavy and the brows were defined. White was applied  on the sides of the model’s heads and carried onto their upper cheekbone and temple.

Diane Von Furstenberg

The makeup at Diane Von Furstenberg’s Spring 2012 show was minimal but gorgeous. The lips were kept completely bare while the eyes were defined with neutral khaki and gold shadows.

Key Makeup Artist: James Kaliardos for MAC

DKNY

Love, love, love the makeup at DKNY’s women’s show. Charlotte Willer was inspired by the “California Girl Glow.” The look she created a simple and clean, with lots of bronzer and rosy cheeks.

Key Makeup Artist: Charlotte Willer for Maybelline

Derek Lam

For Derek Lam, Tom Pecheux created a look that consisted of full brows, gold shadow and nude, glossy lips
