Nutella Chocolate Pizza | Recipe

By Heather Hahn @HeatherHahnn

There is nothing more that I crave in the summer time, other then a simple sweet tooth.

Growing up, I was always THAT KID that ate half of the container of Nutella, before my parents could even get their hands on it.

Except maybe eating just Nutella with a spoon, isn’t the route I would chose to go on today.

This is one of my favorite things to do, now being in my twenties with one of my absolute favorite, yes favorite snacks in the entire world!

Say hello to “Nutella Pizza”.

 WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Already prepped pizza dough or frozen pizza dough from your local grocery

2. A bag of chocolate chips in my case – milk or white chocolate, preferred upon your taste -

3. A regular sized container of Nutella Spread

4.  ( optional ) A small container of peanuts / already crushed

5. 2 teaspoons of melted butter

DIRECTIONS:

Position the oven rack on the bottom of the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.
O Line a heavy large baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough to a 9-inch-diameter round.

O Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet. Using your fingers, make indentations all over the dough.

O Brush the dough with butter, then bake until the crust is crisp and pale golden brown, about 20 minutes.

O Immediately spread the chocolate-hazelnut spread over the pizza then sprinkle all the chocolate chips over.

O Bake just until the chocolate begins to melt, about 1 minute. Sprinkle the hazelnuts over the pizza. Cut into wedges and serve.
