Nude by Nature Pressed Mineral Cover, Pressed Matte Mineral Bronzer & Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Nude by Nature recently released their new Pressed Powder Collection consisting of a Pressed Mineral Cover (available in 5 shades), Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil (available in 1 shade) & Pressed Matte Mineral Bronzer (available in 1 shade).

I am a huge fan of mineral makeup but I’ve only really tried it in loose form which I admit, can get a little messy sometimes so the idea of having the makeup in pressed form makes it much more user and travel friendly. This new collection has really impressed me with ease of use and quality of product!

The Nude by Nature Pressed Powders all come in a pouch accompanied with an applicator sponge and large mirror for easy use. The formulas include a number of native Australian ingredients to nourish the skin whilst providing coverage. In the pan, the powders dont have the smoothest texture, however when applied onto the face, the powers transform into the gorgeous finely milled, silky smooth powder. All 3 powders leave the skin feeling soft and smooth with a beautiful finish.

Pressed Mineral Cover in Light, Pressed Matte Mineral Bronzer & Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil

Pressed Mineral Cover – With a semi matte finish, the medium to full coverage foundation actually allows you to achieve a range of finishes. Using a brush (such as a kabuki brush) will allow you to achieve a light finish through buffing it into the skin whilst using the sponge applicator or smoothing the powder over the face with a brush will allow for a fuller coverage. The powder feels extremely lightweight on the face and has a natural finish, regardless of the coverage you go for whilst still evening the skin tone and covering blemishes. With a light blurring effect that will give the skin a more perfected finish, the powder didn’t make my face look dry or dull in any way and lasts really nicely throughout the day.

Pressed Matte Mineral Bronze – Coming in a single shade, this matte bronzer is one that can be used on all skin tones. Whilst it does look quite dark and warm in the pan, on my light skin tone, the powder works perfectly as a bronzer to warm the face up and get that sun kissed look but is slightly too warm for me to use as a contour unfortunately. Being quite pigmented, I only need a little for each application to achieve warmth to the face whilst still ensuring it has a natural finish, although it builds very well to help achieve a more dramatic bronzed glow too. The bronzer blends out very well, especially over the Pressed Mineral Cover to create a seamless finish.

Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil – This oil free powder works well to firstly set the base to allow for longevity of the makeup whilst also combating any shine your skin might develop during the day. The powder is also finely milled and not heavy on the skin, ensuring that even when applied over the pressed foundation, the skin never looks too powdery or cakey whilst the formula contains light diffusing technology to minimise the appearance of imperfections, giving the skin a lovely polished finish.

The Nude by Nature Pressed Mineral Cover ($39.95), Pressed Matte Mineral Bronzer ($39.95) & Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil ($29.95) are available to purchase from Priceline, Myer, Target, Big W and the Nude by Nature Website which is currently offering a FREE Double Sided Pressed Powder Brush with any Pressed Powder purchase.
