I'm a sucker for all natural, plant based oils especially those that prove to be beneficial to the overall health and appearance of my hair. For the last year, I've been experimenting with heat styling. One thing I've noticed is that my hair requires far more moisture when using heat on regular basis. To prevent my hair from becoming too dry, I like to use oil based products on my hair and scalp. I don't know why, but my hair just prefers it this way.
So when I received a bottle of Nouritress Perfect Hair Vita Oil, I decided to use it as a hot oil treatment because my hair was in desperate need of some TLC. Anything hair and beauty related that contains all-natural ingredients is definitely worth a try in my book.
I've had bad experiences in the past where I've ordered oils and other hair products online, and by the time they arrived half the stuff had spilled out due to poor packaging. I liked that the oil arrived in a very nicely secured twist-cap that stayed in place during shipping.

Multi-use products are always a bonus, and there are several ways that you can use the oil including bath and body care. Try using the Nouritress Vita Oil for:
- Daily moisture
- Pre-shampoo treatments
- Hot Oil treatments
- Deep Conditioning
- Skin treatments
- Adding the oil to your bath
Usually when I use hair oils, they weigh my hair down, but Nouritress Vita Oil is light and delicate with a subtle tropical scent. It smells even better when warmed for a hot oil or pre-shampoo treatment. I heated the oil for a few seconds in the microwave and co-washed my hair. I applied the oil on my hair while still wet and left in on for about 40 minutes under a plastic conditioning cap. It smelled lovely!
For an extra delicious hair treat, you can try mixing the Nouritres Vita Oil with your favorite conditioner, a cup of mayonnaise, or even Greek yogurt as a deep conditioner. Comb the conditioner through the hair so that every strand gets coated, throw on your plastic conditioning cap, and sit under a Hair Steamer for half an hour. If you don't have a hair steamer, you could sit under a hooded hair dryer or a thermal conditioning cap for 30 minutes and still get the same splendid results.
My hair felt much softer as soon as I rinsed the oil from my hair. While I was blow-drying, I also noticed that my hair appeared to have a bit more luster than usual. I haven't been using it long enough to comment on any improvement in hair growth, but I'll be sure to keep you posted. Overall, I think Nouritress did a great job on the Vita Oil, especially on the ingredient blend and fragrance. I would recommend Nouritress Perfect Hair Vita Oil to anyone who is looking for a good oil blend that does more than just make your hair look moisturized, this oil actually hydrates the hair and improves the overall health of your scalp and natural tresses.
