Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Haul

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
This has been a pretty busy week for my UPS man. I only had four Nordstrom orders, but it looked more like 9 because of how they shipped everything. But as long as I get my stuff in a timely fashion, I am quite alright.
You might want to grab some refreshments and get comfy. I have a lot to share with you guys.
Arcona Triad Toner Duo $48
This is a product that I have bought two or three times before. It can be used after cleansing, in the morning in place of cleansing, or just throughout the day to refresh your skin. The pads smell divine and keep your skin hydrated and radiant.  This is just Arcona's Cranberry Toner in a cotton pad form for convenience.  This set includes two full size containers with 45 pads each.
Beauty Blender Must Have Trio $37
I can be so very obstinate at times. For instance, it has taken me this long to buy a Beauty Blender. I love this thing and I am not sure that I will ever use a foundation brush again. This trio includes two Beauty Blenders and the solid cleanser.
M.A.C. Whirl Lip Liner and Matte Lipstick
This isn't a beauty exclusive that was launched for the sale, but I decided to go ahead and buy it. I love the way this shade looks on other people, so I wanted to try it for myself. And so far I am glad that I did.

M.A.C Giambattista Valli Collection Crystal Glaze Gloss $23
I am not sure what possessed me to get this, but it seems like a really neat product. Plus I don't really own any clear glosses, and everyone needs a good, clear gloss to pair with your favorite lipstick.

Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain Exclusive Trio $72
Yves Saint Laurent is a brand that I adore. Their beauty products (like Guerlain) just scream French luxury. I especially like their lip products, even though I don't have many of them. This beautiful set comes with three Glossy Stains in a lovely red bag. The shades included are Glossy Stain Classic in No.7 Corrail Aquatique, Glossy Stain Pop Water in No. 204 Onde Rose, and Glossy Stain Plump Up in No. 200. The Pop Water has no color, but it looks nice on. It has hyaluronic acid for moisture.
Yves Saint Laurent Couture Palette Rock Resille Edition $60
This palette is simple perfection. The colors are not anything new, but the formulation is lovely and easy to work with. But the packaging is stunning. Plus with a $125 Yves Saint Laurent purchase, you get a gift (more on the GWPs further down).

Guerlain Meteorites Summer Edition Pearls $62
Meteorites are one of the most gorgeous products in the beauty industry. At least in my humble opinion they are. This edition has light green, pink, beige, and copper pearls. I like applying them all over my face for a touch of luminosity. They also seem to keep my skin from looking as oily and do a bit of color correcting. And the smell is divine. The tin also looks beautiful sitting out.
Now it is time to talk about all of the GWPs I got. Nordstrom had these adorable bags with samples that you could get with a $50 purchase. Between orders from my mom and I, we got three of them. There are a few repeat samples, but they came with some great stuff. For example, each bag had an OCC product. One had the OCC Lip Primer, and there were two OCC Matte Lip Tar Test Tubes. One bag had a stunning blue that I will find an excuse to wear, and the other is a lovely bright pink. There were a few fragrance samples, a mini Clinique Chubby Stick balm, a Glam Glow Mask, two Yu-Be lip balms (good stuff). among other things.

Yves Saint Laurent (and pretty much every beauty brand) also has a gift going on right now. When you spend $125, which is not hard to do with YSL. With this gift, you get three deluxe samples of YSL Forever products, including the Light Corrector for dark circles, anti-wrinkle serum, and y-shape cream. It also includes a little cometic bag.
So far, I have used everything and I am loving it all. The quality of everything is on point, so I will have reviews and swatches galore coming soon.
