NO: Don't Worry, You'll Be Here Forever

Posted on the 29 November 2012 by Hctf @hctf

Echo Park band NO describe their sound as "post-hymnal anthematic". Put down that dictionary and settle for a mix of the Crash Test Dummies pop and UK shoegaze rock of The Jesus and Mary Chain variety. Their EP Don't Worry, You'll Be Here Forever is knee deep in textures and adventurous time signatures, the kind of music that will please music geeks and record store staff who claim to have heard it all before.

With songs like There's A Glow and Stay With Me they may become as big as The National, hopefully without losing their quirkiness.

A limited run of 5O0 copies on vinyl sold out quickly. Get your hands on the digital in various formats via Bandcamp or the band's website (MP3s for free).
