NFL draft order: Steelers set to select 10th after Week 14 loss

The Steelers' most recent loss puts them into the 10th spot for the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft if the season ended today.
The Steelers are currently set to draft 10th in the 2014 NFL Draft after their Week 14 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
The Houston Texans are scheduled to draft first, the St. Louis Rams (via the Washington Redskins) are second and the Atlanta Falcons are third. The Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars are 4-6, respectively.
The Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the 7-9 pick range.
Pittsburgh hasn't drafted lower than 8th since 2000. That year, they took Michigan State wide receiver Plaxico Burress.
While the Steelers have some young and up and coming talent, there are clearly enough holes to think hitting on more than a few picks will be necessary if this team is to compete in the coming future. They are getting many of their 2013 Draft Class members on the field, which has created some growing pains, but should give the team a strong look at their current roster.
The Steelers have three games left, and currently sit at 5-8, looking at their first losing season since 2003 - a dubious position they'll clinch with one more loss.
