NEW IN │ Pre-100 Days No-buy Shopping (Caudalie, La Roche Possay, Yves Rocher, Catrice, Ciate and More) Part 1

By Fleurissante

Hello lovelies,

finally the majority of items I’ve ordered in a tiny time frame of 2 days have arrived. I’m still waiting for several nail polishes, which should hopefully arrive soon, as well as some Emma Hardie products. After all, it’s been over 3 weeks. I think that once they arrive I’m finally set.

Now, let’s see what I’ve got so far.

I’ve been pretty happy with Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Serum, but before committing to it, I wanted to test more. I’ve heard a lot (mostly good things) about Caudalie Vinousource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum and, since it is advertised for dehydrated skin, I thought this might be a good choice. I still had 5GBP off my order from feelunique burning in my pocked so I used them to get the serum. What’s even better, I found a set in which you get both serum and cleansing water for a couple of pounds more, which is a great deal.

I’ve been running pretty low on my cleansing water stash – it is something I use daily and this month I only had one small sample bottle of Caudalie cleansing water. These two bottles of Garnier Micellar water should last me a couple of months at least.

When you can’t decide what to get, get them all. This is definitely the case with La Roche Possay body lotions – I bought Lipikar Lait, Lipikar Baume AP and Iso-urea Lait Lissant. Once I decide which one I like the most, I’ll buy a bigger 400ml bottle.

It’s been a while since my last Yves Rocher purchase. I had no idea that they discontinued Jardins du Monde Ylang Ylang shower gel, which was my favorite scent ever. A good thing is that Tiare is still here. I decided to get Lime scent too as I’ve found myself craving citrusy scents.

Another staple of mine is Monoi de Tahiti dry oil, this time in a user-friendly square bottle. The old one was rounded and it constantly slipped out of my hands.

Here’s also my Holy Grail exfoliator: Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold. This is the second time I’ve repurchased it and it certainly won’t be the last.

I only have a couple of mini bottles of Sisley Floral Toning lotion left. Since at the moment I’m not willing to shell out $100+ for what’s a nice, but pretty basic toner, I went back to my old favourite: Olea Fresh Balance toner. It contains a provitamin B5 and works pretty well at preparing my skin for the next step in my skincare routine.

Those “allowed” purchases proved to be one of culprits for my first no-buy fail. As I found myself pretty low with cleanser – I wasn’t sure that what I have left would be enough for 100 days – I decided to get a new cleanser now rather than have it tempt me later. After browsing all the stores, trying to find something interesting but not too expensive I opted for CV Foam Cleanser. I’m still not sure how I feel about this type of cleansers, but I won’t be too upset if I don’t like this one since it is pretty affordable.

While I was next to CV display, I picked up CV Vitamin E & Gingko capsules and Hyaluron Booster. They were super cheap and I’m looking forward to trying them. They might turn out to be pretty nice.

It seems that I’m low on all sorts of cleansers. I decided to switch again from cleansing milk to cleansing oil and L’Oreal Skin Perfection Miracle Cleansing Oil seemed like a good product to start.

Here’s the first round of nail polishes. I think I mentioned a couple of times that I like to have at least three of the same bottle shapes and for ages the fact that I only had one of Bourjois 10 Jours and So Laque nail polishes has driven me crazy. I decided to fix that by adding more nail polish to my collection.

From left to right we have:

Magenta Show, Violet Couture, Bleu Violet, #16, #19, #25, #26.

I also added another OPI and several Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes.

Don’t Touch my Tutu, Ice Pop, So Poppy, Strawberry Icing, Pinch of Punch, Pink Grape Fruit and Blueberry Blast.

And finally, my first round of Ciate:

Heirloom, Jewellery Box, Starlet, Palm Tree and Looking Glass.

Surprisingly I didn’t get a lot of make-up, although I continued to feed my neutral obsession . There should be 5 eyeshadows on the photo but, as usually, I left one in my makeup bag. Here are Catrice Liquid Metal in 030 We are the Champagnes and 040 Under Treasure (not on the photo), Catrice Intensif’eye Wet & Dry in 100 Glamourose, Absolute Mono in New in Brown and Ice Wide Open.

Well, this is all for part 1. I’ll post the second part the moment those two shipments arrive. You can also expect a no-buy update soon.

Thank you for reading,

xoxo Tamara
