What I like is that it is super easy to clean and the fact that the applicator is silicone means that it glides over your eyelids easily. The pigment itself is really good - I have been using the lilac shade and it looks lovely, lasts ages and never smudges.
What I don't like is that the product itself is a bit stubborn - it comes through the top a little bit rigid and can be quite hard to apply to the lids without it clumping together. I have persevered with this and have found that a little goes a really long way and keeping it stored in warm conditions will definitely help this.
Would I re-purchase this? I'm not sold yet - but as I continue to use it I will update you all on my thoughts.
Onto the LA Lights blendable lip and cheek color. I was given the color "beverley hills blush" which is a coral pink with gold shimmer through it. It is really smooth and moisturizing on the skin. It applies really easily and looks glossy on the cheeks. I prefer this for the cheeks more than the lips due to the amount of shimmer there is in there but with that said, if you were going for a glowy 'I'm not wearing any makeup" beachy sunkissed makeup, then this is definitely good for cheeks, lips, as a highlight and even across the arch of your brows. It's a good all rounder product which would be ideal for going on holiday or for anyone who does a lot of traveling.
All in all the new releases from Smashbox are right up my street. I would literally buy all of the shades of the LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colour.
Have you tried these out? what are your thoughts?
