Neener Neener Nails - Swatches & Review

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi everyone!!
I have some polishes to share with you from Neener Neener Nails.  This is a new "to me" brand.  I think I remember reading about it a while back, but I'm not sure.  Anyhoo, while searching Etsy not too long ago (much to my account's dissatisfaction), I came across the store.
First up is I'm A Star.

I'm A Star is a white creme base with pink and blue hex glitter and microglitter and light blue star glitter.  It's slightly streaky on the the first coat, but it levels out nicely and is fully opaque with the second coat.  The glitter is pretty sparse though, so I decided to use a third coat for some more glitter coverage.  I used Beauty Secrets Top Coat.

This is a really pretty polish.  It's not chalky like most white cremes and I love the subtle glitter in it.  It's great for someone who doesn't like too much glitter on their nails.
Next, I have Surfer Girl and Pool Party.

Surfer Girl is a sheer blue shimmer with pink, blue and white glitter.  Pool Party is a baby blue creme with green, blue, red and orange glitter.

Artificial Light

I decided to use these two together for a fun mani.  I have Pool Party on my index, middle and pinky fingers.  It applies so well.  It's slightly thick, but manageable.  I expected to have streaking issues with this polish since it was a pastel, but it applied evenly and with no problems.  It was fully opaque in two coats, but because the glitter was also sparse in this one, I used three coats.
On my ring finger, I layered two coats of Surfer Girl over OPI Swimsuit... Nailed It!  On my thumb, I layered two coats of Surfer Girl over China Glaze Electric Beat.  I had no issues with applying this polish.

This was definitely a mani that I did not want to remove.  I was actually sad taking it off.  However, it's not very work friendly so it had to go :(.  But I absolutely loved it.  It was such a fun combo of blues.
What do you guys think of these polishes?  Have you tried any polishes from Neener Neener Nails?
