I have been slightly addicted to buying make-up palettes of late as its that time of year where beauty brands dazzle us with their limited edition sets.
I mean, there are some seriously amazing face palettes that have launched over the last few months and ones where you actually use everything in them and not just hit pan on one or two shades that you use and leave the rest. One that especially caught my eye was this Limited Edition 'Virtual Domination Cheek Palette' from Nars and I knew instantly it would be a sell out seeing as this happened last year with their Danmari Blush Palette that was very similar to this one. I was amazed to spy a delivery of them in Sephora Cannes a few weeks ago so I grabbed one as fast as you could say mine!Just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this palette ....This stunning white compact, complete with good sized mirror contains 3 x blushers (Deep Throat, Sex Fantasy and Final Cut), 1 x highlighter (Miss Liberty) and 1 x bronzer (Laguna). It contains two of Nars' bestselling shades, Deep Throat blush and Laguna bronzer which is actually larger in this palette than in its original version and the blushers are all almost full size too. The compact itself is quite weighty but very sturdy and feels very luxurious. The perfect weapon for bronzing, blushing, highlighting and sculpting!
I have always been a fan of Nars Laguna bronzer and Deep Throat blush as I used to wear them all the time a few years back so this was like being reunited with an old friend. I love all the other shades in this palette as sometimes you look at blusher shades that you wouldn't necessarily choose for yourself but when it's in a palette you find new shades that flatter your skin even more, so a really good palette if you are someone who always plays it safe and sticks to one shade.
All shades are very wearable and would suit many skin tones and can be built up as they don't seem to be as strongly pigmented as buying them individually which isn't a bad thing as sometimes its very easy to get a tad 'blush happy' with them, so this way you can go very natural or more contoured for those party nights. The highlighter is a glittery one as you can see so definitely one for nights out or whenever a little sparkle is needed to brighten your day!Retailing at £45/$65/€55 the palette is an exclusive and only available online and in stores at SpaceNK & Sephora (US & FR) - best be quick!
