Nailing It with Jessica “Sexy Siren”

By Kelly Cakar @secondblonde

So this is the first time I’m trying a Jessica polish…I know right! I was given a mini sized bottle in a good bag last winter and it’s been knowing around at the back of my nail polish drawer. Time to give it a whirl…

(excuse the paint job, i’m no pro! just enjoy painting my nails and sharing with you)

The brush size is perfect for applying even strokes, the color glided on effortlessly. Two coats gave a lovely color appearing slightly lighter than the liquid in the bottle. It’s got a raspberry hue to it which I quite like for a change. (normally I go for a darker shade)

I prepared my nails with one coat of Essie’s Fill the Gap, to fill in a few fine lines I have on some of my nails. Followed by two coats of Jessica Sexy Siren, I do one stroke down the center of my nail and two strokes either side.

*Top Tip* get as close to the sides as possible for a professional looking paint job. I brushed on a generous lick of Intensae Crystalline Top Coat. To finish I sweep Barielle Advanced Pro Cuticle Oil over my dry cuticles giving the appearance of healthy nourished nails.
