Nada Akram Designs presented the two colliding worlds of desperate housewives and Egyptian celebrities – two themes that couldn't be more inspiring. The idea was to stay casual and to give all women the chance to feel glamorous while doing household chores such as washing clothes, sweeping floors or even running errands at the supermarket. My favorite thing about the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection was that it payed tribute to the golden age of Soad Hosny and the legendary singer Om Kolthoum while jazzing up Nada Akram's funky brand.
Cotton sweaters and long sleeve tees featured high-end designer logos in artistic graphic prints to give them a quirky feel.Camouflage fabrics, sequins and faux leather were featured strongly in the jacket lines while printed chiffon fabrics dominated the skirt and shirt lines. With so many eclectic pieces to offer, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Here are some of favorite picks from Nouran Khalifa's photoshoot.
