My Top 10 Summer Nail Polishes

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Nail polish and I have a love, hate relationship. I love Nail Polish and Nail polish hates me. I always smudge my nails. ALWAYS. Yes, I'm impatient.
Anyways, as much as nail polish hates me, it is an essential part of every outfit, particularly during summertime, so I have picked my top 10 summer nail polishes.
There's a few different brands here but I'm going to group them by brand..
MODELS OWN
  • Hypergel - Searing Pink & Purple Glare - These are SO pigmented and shiny, I absolutely adore them and think one coat would probably be enough but I still like to apply two coats. These are just so gorgeous and I love them.
  • Tan Enhancing - Flip Flop & Sun Hat - These are so super fluorescent but I love them. They are ideal for when you're wearing an otherwise 'colourless' outfit to add a bit of pop.  I prefer the finish of the hypergel ones so would love it if Models Own would release these shades in the gel finish - just an idea!
REVLON
  • 01 Beautiful - This is a gorgeous block purple color which is actually quite unique. I don't really have any polishes that are like this so I was really happy to have this. The revlon polishes dry super quickly but do require 2 coats.
  • Superdrug 50th Birthday Polish - This is gold and glitzy and perfect for enhancing your fake tan.
  • Parfumerie - Linen - This is an off white color and has a pearly finish. It is part of the parfumerie range released by Revlon where the bottles look like miniature perfume bottles and the polishes themselves are scented. This one smells like fresh linen and is such a fresh summery smell which I love. You need a minimum of 2 coats of this because of the pale shade.
 BARRY M
  • Gelly Hi Shine - Satsume (a blovk orange) and Key Lime (a semi fluorescent lime green).  You've probably seen these all over blogs over the past few months in particular. That's because we bloggers are literally obsessed with these! The finish of them is incredible. Barry M polishes are so cheap and yet have such good lasting power. The only downside for me is that they do take a while to dry unless you have a fast drying top coat.
ESSIE
  • Orange, It's Obvious.  Another bright orange. This is a matte color and is the perfect orange. This isn't just as block as the Barry M one but I love it. This was the first ever Essie nail polish I bought :)
What nail polishes are you loving right now?
