My Take On Applying Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips

By Trina @embellishcandle
Hello readers hope you guys are doing fine on this Wednesday evening. Well my mother in law bought me some cool things over last week and it included the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips. I've always wanted to try them out and I did get that chance.
First they look so simple to put on from the package, It states you peel, apply and then shape.
But I tell you it wasn't easy as I had thought, it was hard trying to peel away the little clear shielding on the nail polish strip and trying to apply them onto my nail bed. I messed up several times and had to reapply, because they nail polish strips ripped and once I got them on my nail bed I had to shape them with my nail filer. Don't get me wrong I love the color and the patterns on the nail strips , but this was a hard job and they didn't turn out so well.

As you can see they didn't apply so well because they were to flimsy and easily to tare.  It was my first time and maybe I will give it another try, but I know I will have to be extra careful. I know they look horrible "laughing out loud!"

I may just try another color next time, but I'm not really into these because you have to have a steady hand to get these on perfect. I tried and thank you for stopping by to read my post.
I was not paid for this post it was my own purchase and my own opinion on these nail polish strips
