My First Memebox Haul!

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Oh my goodness. I have not been this excited for something to be delivered in ages.  Why? I have been wanting to try Korean beauty products for ages now, but wasn't quite sure how to go about it. Word on the street is that Korean skincare, or beauty products in general, are pretty outstanding.  I was seeing a lot of sponsored posts on Facebook for Memebox, so I finally went on their website. It literally took me three days to figure out what I wanted to buy because they have so many interesting products.  I also had a 15% off code for my first order, which I could not let go to waste.

Memebox has all kinds of pre-made boxes with full size products.  After spending a long time debating which one to go with, I finally decided on the Korean Beauty Starter Kit for Oily/Combination Skin ($39).  I was going to get the one for troubled skin, but there was a product in this one that I have head rave reviews about and wanted to try. This wonderful hot pink box of awesomeness houses 5 products for oily/combination skin:
  • Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Foam Cleanser
  • The Face Shop Oil Control Essence
  • Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream. Not even going to lie, this product scares me.
  • MemeMask: Intensive Moisturizing Hydrogel
  • Skin Factory 7 Seconds Morning Sheet

I also picked up two Missha Pure Source sheet masks.  The first one is a lemon mask, which is supposed to control oil and open up the pores.  The aloe mask is designed to soothe the skin.  They are $2 a piece and are 100% cotton.

I honestly don't know what possessed me to get the Etude House Cherry Lip Gel Patch $4). I guess it just intrigued me because I have never experienced anything like it. I am going to be trying it out tonight or tomorrow night, so be prepared for a ridiculous Instagram post.

I love using my Elma & Sanna Ghassoul Powder Clay, but sometimes I just don't feel like dealing with process of mixing it with rose water and figuring out the perfect amount. The Too Cool for School Morocco Ghassoul Creamy Mousse Pack sounds like a great solution.  I was also a little taken aback when I saw that it came in an aerosol can. This product was $16.

It's Skin Macaron Strawberry Lip Balm was too cute to pass up. And guys, I cannot tell you how amazing this lip balm smells.  I have tried a lot of lip balms, but this one smells the best by far.  It also does feel really nice on the lips.

It's Skin Babyface One-Step Base in Green was something I decided to order at the last minute. It has fantastic reviews and I frequently have redness in some areas of my face. So I figured what the heck? Memebox has a 90 do return policy, so if it doesn't work out, it is all good.

Holika Holika's Pig-nose line just amuses me to no end. I got the Pig-nose Clear Blackhead Deep Cleansing Oil Balm in the hopes that it would help banish the ever present blackheads on my nose. I swear the same ones have been around since I was in high school. It smells so good that I just keep opening it to get a whiff. It smells like lemons. Actually, it smells a lot like the wet hand wipes they give you at a barbecue place after eating baby back ribs. That may be the strangest sentence I have ever put in a blog post. Anyways, I am curious to see what this product does for me.

I ordered it Wednesday around midnight, I got my tracking number Wednesday evening, and got it today.  They have free shipping on orders $30 or more.
I am going to start switching over to everything tomorrow morning. I am excited, but also nervous about trying the stuff.  I will keep you guys updated on everything. =)
