I know I know I’m terribly late with this Easter Collection post, but I’ve been going through a pathetic phase and have come home to India this week and now I’ll get back with pending posts!
So, Lush launched a really nice collection for Easter, which had a lot of new and limited edition products. I’m reviewing 3 of the 10 products in this collection. These were limited edition and I feel so bad I’m posting about these so late.
First is this adorableeee bunny bubble bar!
Lush describes it as – A cute little bubble bar shaped like a white rabbit, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, and made with a brand new formula. This one has a similar mix to a bubbleroon, with shea butter and coconut oil, but corn starch is added to the mix to get a more condensed bar that can be broken in half and used over two baths. Or you can use the whole thing for masses of softening Creamy Candy scented bubbles. Vegan
It’s a small bar so you can get maximum 2 uses from this. The bottom of this bunny is pink in color, I really loved this bar. It has a really nice fragrance of vanilla-ish bubblegum. It gives quite a decent amount of bubbles and the cornflower petals in it float around in the bathtub! :D This was available for $6.95 for 2.8oz.
Next is the Golden Egg.
Lush describes it as –A brand new invention, this egg is a Bath Bomb coated in bath melt mixture. It will unexpectedly sink to the bottom of the bathtub while the outer layer dissolves, popping to the surface as the fizzing center is revealed. The outer bath melt mix is made using our beautiful fair trade, organic, Colombian Peace Village cocoa butter. Scented with the best selling Honey I Washed the Kids fragrance, it’s coated with PET free golden luster.
I have never used a Lush bath bomb before. It basically keeps fizzing out inside the bath tub and the whole water turns the same golden-ish yellow color and this also has a lotttt of glitter in it! It doesn’t give any bubbles of anything, basically just the color and fragrance. It makes the bath so luxurious and I just don’t feel like getting out :P I loved its fragrance the most, it has a toffee like scent which filled my bathroom! This retailed for $8.95 for 3.8oz.
Last is the Carrot Soap.
Lush describes it as – A spectacular carrot-shaped soap with a bunny hiding in every slice! The orange part is made with carrot oil to moisturize; while the white bunny inside is made with cocoa butter to soften. The fragrance smells nothing like carrots however, we’ve used fruity essential oils such as buchu, lemon and bergamot to really make your mouth water.
I used a soap bar after a long time and really enjoyed it. It has a fruity and edible kindof scent with a lot of creaminess to it. The white part inside it is cocoa butter and it really is moisturizing though I need moisturizer after the bath as my skin’s too dry. It doesn’t lather a lot but not too less either. This bar lasted me more than a month with daily use. This one was for $6.95 for 3.5oz.
I really enjoyed these products and definitely recommend these if they come out next Easter too! They’re all super fun products to use :D
I’ve heard Lush has closed business in India since some time :( I hope they come back!!!
P.S. PR Samples. All opinions are my own and 100% honest.
