Since I have thick, curly hair, I burn through a TON of conditioner. I am always trying different ones, and the Burt's Bees Hair Repair Shea and Grapefruit Deep Conditioner was the most recent one. I wouldn't repurchase this one, though. I only got 4 o4 5 uses out of it, if that. I also didn't notice much of a difference. It wasn't anything special, but it did smell great. Since we are on the topic of hair care, I'll mention the Head and Shoulders Clinical Strength Shampoo. I have been using this once a week for the last 5-ish years. It works great, but I think I have found a shampoo that works a little better.
In addition to conditioners, I also like using hair oils. Like I said, my hair is REALLY dry. The Organix Miracle Shower Oil works very well for me and I would re-purchase it. In fact, I need to add that to my to do list. I received a sample of the It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product. I don't get what all they hype is about. I know a lot of people love this stuff, but it didn't do anything for me. I have another sample that I will use, but I won't buy it.
I used up a smaller bottle of the Pixi Glow Tonic, and I am pretty sad about it. It is amazing! I will definitely repurchase, but I have a couple of toners I need to use up first. It makes my skin look brighter and feel much smoother. Plus it smells good. Another product I used up and loved are the Lumene Bright Now Drops. I can definitely tell a difference in my skin when I incorporate a product with vitamin C. My skin looked healthier and my acne scars have flattened out substantially. I will buy them again. But since I am trying to use up other stuff, that will have to wait. Maybe.
I don't think I need to explain why I am throwing out my Bosica Konjac Sponge. It looks disgusting. I liked it a lot, but I won't repurchase. It is pricey and I am not sure I'll buy another sponge in general. The SNP patches are great! I bought them from Memebox awhile back and they make the skin under my eyes look a lot better. I have some patches by another brand that I am trying out, but I would repurchase them.
Lancome's Teint Miracle was my first favorite foundation. I've had this empty bottle for a long time because I couldn't quite come to terms with throwing it away. I'm weird. I know. Even though I have oily skin, I tend to prefer luminous foundations. Teint Miracle, while expensive, is fantastic. I don't know if I will buy it again, though. I have been trying out the new Laura Mercier foundation and I like more than anything else I have ever tried. Then there are my beloved Kiss Trio lashes. I have gone through three of them so far and I will keep buying them. Of course I'll use the last three.
I quickly went through a bag of the Studio 35 Beauty Premium Cotton Squares. I just bough more tonight. They work pretty well.
I plan on posting more of these in the future. I have so many samples, skincare products, and hair care that I need to use before I even think about trying anything new.
I am not sure what I will post next. It will probably be a review of the BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel or I might do an FOTD. I also need to review a couple of foundations. We'll see.
See you soon!
