A team-building weekend in Eastern Europe goes awry for a sales team who work for a weapons company when they get lost in the woods and stumble upon an abandoned lodge instead of the luxury accommodation they were promised.
Eh, well, it was okay, but I find that many horror comedies are not horrific enough and not funny enough. This is one of those. There are moments of tension and moments that are genuinely funny, but they aren’t enough to make a memorable film. It’s an okay plot and there’s a fair amount of blood but it’s nothing too special. I wouldn’t suggest going out of your way to watch it. The effects and make-up are good and the direction is okay, although I’m unsure why the scenes at the beginning of the film are placed there rather than later on.
It doesn’t really amount to much. It’s okay I suppose if there’s nothing else on but it doesn’t do anything that’s different or unique. Pretty standard fare really.
