More Doctors for Noah

By Maddixfamily31 @inthemomentprod

Well, today is a more job hunting and trying to figure out the embroidery on my sewing machine that I still haven't had time to mess with. I've got, what I think are simple projects to start with so here's to hoping today is quite productive!
I've been advised to take Noah to another doctor to see if the back of his head can be fixed. It's a little flater than doctors would like to see but did anyone tell me this until recently. No. Even the doctor we saw last week said it was too late since “you didn't bring him in months ago to have this looked at.” Me? It's my fault? To me I can't see the flattening of his head. It's really not that noticeable, but Noah's Occupational Therapist said she new a great doctor to have him looked at one more time. If he did think we could do something about the slight flattening of the back of Noah's head, then he'd have to wear a helmet for a while to get it re-corrected. Prayers appreciated as we figure out what is best for Noah at this point. I just want a doctor that will spend a little time with me to talk things out with me, make me understand besides the medical jargon thrown my way and help me feel better about what is the next best thing for my son. The current doctor's he sees, I'll be honest. I often leave feeling “Did we even accomplish anything today? Do I understand what happened? I know I should ask more questions but sometimes I just don't know the questions to ask. I'll try harder. Maybe this is my fault that I don't always ask the right questions. Am I the failing mama? I can't help but wonder sometimes.
Yesterday, I got a couple cute photos of little man. I met a friend at McDonald's so our kids could play and even though I'm having the toughest time getting him to eat solids, I put a french fry in his hand and he did eat most of it. I think he liked holding it more than anything. But great right? I finally get him to eat something that's solid and what does he choose? An unhealthy french fry. On the same token, it's nice to see him stick some food in his mouth besides a bottle!
Like my previous post about Noah and his kisses, I think he's also playing with me. Man, I'd love to hear that sweet boy talk but he does have this game with me. He'll pull his glasses halfway down his face and I'll say “Put your glasses back on Noah.” and he smiles and puts them back on his face. He does this over and over again, so I know he's playing with me and I love it. Just knowing there is some interaction with my son, warms my heart.
Ok. It's time to get off this computer and get the kids fed for breakfast. Well, Bella anyway. She just woke. Noah's had his bottle and watched 2 Baby Einstein videos so far this morning.
Have a great day everyone.
