Hey guys,
I am pretty sure that you guys have probably seen a lot of reviews of face masks by Montagne Jeunesse lately on the blogsphere and yes I am also doing another.
I am pretty sure a lot of you have heard of Montagne Jeunesse as their face masks packaging is very eye catching. However I have never used their masks before. I have seen my friends use them and they loved them!
This is what they say about their new masks:
"Unlike any other masque, Clay Spas are created with world's first technology - special sourced clays are cleverly infused into natural bamboo fabric, creating a completely new and never seen before type of face masque that makes cleansing better, quicker and easier than ever before"
I was kindly sent the Dead sea mud mask and the Glacial clay spa mask to try out both of them being clay infused fabric which does make life a lot easier! All you gotta do is take out the fabric which is in the shape of a face? make sense? and put it on. After 15 mins you simply take it off and it doesn't dry on your skin which is awesome cause then you don't get that horrible crackly stiff face feeling!
On the back of the packets the instructions are listed as well. These are both mud and clay masks and I have to tell you one thing that previously I have tried various clay and mud masks but afterwards my skin would go red in places and quite irritated. I am guessing that was because my skin is very sensitive but I still wanted to try these out and see how these worked for my sensitive skin.
The Glacial Clay Spa mask: This mask contains real clay, Arctic cloudberry and red grape and this promises you a sensational skin clean. This is my favourite out of the two. Its such a refreshing mask and the feeling you get afterwards is really nice, clean and fresh. When you first apply this on its very cooling. If you have ever used the Neutrogena 2 in 1 mask you'll know how you get that cool very menthol like feeling; you get that when you use this. Am I making any sense? Anyways, as far as my sensitive skin is concerned this is probably the best clay mask I have used. No redness occurred on my face but my jawline was slightly itchy for a while. My skin felt very smooth afterwards and I love the fragrance of this products. It smells like those perfumed tissues that you get, and I love those. the scent does linger on for a while too.
The Dead Sea Mud Spa mask: This mask contains pressed sea kelp, real mud and dead sea. This promises you an extraordinary cleansing experience. This is quite hydrating and leaves your skin very fresh and clean. It did have the cool feeling too but not as much as the other. Nevertheless it a really nice mud mask that didn't bother my sensitive skin.
I really enjoyed these masks and at only £1.49 I will deffo be picking up these :)
Do you like the sound of these?
