So it’s official, I am adding another career to my plate! Starting in January, I will be teaching a career development course to undergraduate students at University of DeVry in San Diego! I had orientation on Friday night and am really impressed by the University faculty, staff and the students. It almost seems surreal, I mean how can I be a Professor when it feels like I just graduated myself. I never would have thought that I would be a Professor but now it seems like a perfect fit! It reminds me of how so many women I interview say that they wish they would have known earlier that the career you pick right out of college doesn’t have to be the career you end up with. You have to be open and flexible to opportunities that come your way and even open to doing three different jobs at once, like I am!
