Mohawk Hairstyle and Undercut Hairstyle

By Jonathan Orbuda @ilovetansyong

I felt boredom with my hairstyle for almost four months now. First, I started to choose undercut style because it was trending among men that time (four months ago.). However, after a few months went by and it seemed that my hair is getting longer. And the only part that my stylist maintains was the sides of my head only. Furthermore, it is no longer pleasant. So I decided to change it into Mohawk just now.

The mohawk or mohican is a hairstyle in which, in the most common variety, both sides of the head are shaven, leaving a strip of noticeably longer hair in the center. The Mohawk is also sometimes referred to as an iro in reference to the Iroquois, from whom the hairstyle is inspired- though historically the hair was plucked out rather than shaved.

Meanwhile, undercut is a hairstyle in which the sides and back are shaved and long hair is grown at the top of the head. Undercut is more casual compared to Mohawk.

No matter, what hairstyle you're going to prefer. What matters most is that you are comfortable of it. Honestly, it is just a matter of how you project it to the public. There's no need to get-in on what is trending. All you need is that you are confident enough to wear your hairstyle.
