Mini Reviews: Giorgio Armani, MAC and NARS

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk FoundationA total gamble buy that turned out not to be my perfect match but good enough with the my summer color. This is in the shade 6.5 and is a tad dark but works when worn minimally and blended well especially around the jawline. I love it but I'm reserving it for times I need to look 'done up' as I find it to be quite full coverage. I'm hoping I find my correct shade come winter time.

MAC Fix + Spray

There wasn't anything I was lusting over from MAC but I knew of the benefits of using Fix + Spray on eyeshadow and pigments, thanks to the tutorials from Teni of Miss Maven. One time, I got a bit carried away using this as a setting spray on a fully done face and looked glossy all day. My tip is to really spray it from a distance and only if you want to look dewy.

NARS Fairy's Kiss Eyeshadow Palette

Kalahari was one NARS eyeshadow I've always wanted to try but I always go straight for the blush section so that never really happened. This was a lucky find online and is a really comprehensive palette with a mix of frosty, shimmer and matte shades.

Top row: Monosque (dusty pink), Kalahari (cocoa), Brousse (violet)
Bottom row: Tokyo (lavender), Brumes (charcoal), Pandora (black)
