Firstly I gave my hands a good wash and then applied lots of hand cream. I am loving two hand creams in particular at the moment, Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream* and Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Hand And Nail Cream. I let that sink in and after a few minutes I began to file my nails so they were all a similar length, I am currently using a file from a set of some sort but I really need to invest in a glass one as they are so much better for the nails. After that I apply the Sally Hanson Gel Cuticle Remover and leave that on for few minutes to works its magic. Once that's been on a long enough I take a cuticle stick and gently push back my cuticles and then I remove any excess gel. Now my nails are looking more healthy and less ragged I apply a layer of OPI Nail Envy to help keep my nails strong. Once dry I take the Beauty Secret Nail Matrix Cuticle Oil and apply that to my nail beds and let it soak in. By this point I am glad I made the effort, my nails look so much better for having a bit more attention paid to them. I really should make this a weekly thing.
Do you treat your hands and nails to manicures? Any tips and tricks?
