One great old friend, three new ones, and a lovely Sunday evening sunset boat ride on the Mekong River all make for a very wonderful engagement soiree. Armed with a loaf of french bread, two Coke's in a bag (see first photo), several smelly cheeses, smoky chorizo and a bottle of bubbly, we all climbed aboard our slow boat at 6p for a couple hours of leisurely cruising.
A fitting end to what's been a fantastic, educational, thought-provoking and truly interesting week in Phnom Penh. Tomorrow we're packing our bags, leaving the city and heading south to Sihanoukville, Ream National Park, Kep and Kampot.
Have we really not seen the ocean since Bali?? I think we're about due.
