Milani Shadow Eyez 12 Hr Pencil in Brown Deluxe

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I have never been one to use anything but powder eyeshadows because other formulas crease or do not stay on well.  I have never tried Milani before, but this looked like an interesting product.  I swatched it as soon as I got home and I was blown away by the pigment and how creamy it was.  I was even more shocked when I woke up and it had not budged.  I have used this three times since I bought it last week, twice as a shadow and once as a liner.  It performed amazingly well all three times.  I am new at using shadow pencils, so my application technique needs some work but the fact that this stayed on all day with no fading and no creasing at all is wonderful.  It will have a permanent home in my makeup collection.
I picked up Brown Deluxe after going back and forth with myself about which color to get since they are all so lovely.  I eventually decided on Brown Deluxe.  It is a darker brown with a coppery sheen.  It is  a bit dark, so I have to be careful with how much I apply.  Luckily, it is pretty easy to blend and is very smooth.  I don't think I can express how creamy and smooth it is.
I bought a Stila Smudge Crayon the same day, and the Milani pencil is so much better.  The only quality that is better about Stila's Smudge Crayon is that you do not have to sharpen it.  Milani even has a color similar to Stila's Kitten and it is called Champagne Toast.
For these pictures, I did use a primer.  But this product stays on just fine without one.  Even in 99 degree weather, this stuff stayed on.  I have included a picture taken just after application and one taken 9 hrs later.  There is almost no difference between the two.  I give this a 5/5.  It is a great product, and it will be even more amazing once I can apply it better :)
