MECCA20 x Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Palette - Review
To celebrate an incredible 20 years, MECCA collaborated with a number of brands - think Urban Decay, Hourglass, RMS, By Terry, NARS, Glamglow, Fornasetti and more - to release a number of limited edition releases!
One of these releases is the MECCA20 x Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Palette, which features 5 shades of their Vice lipsticks, housed in a gorgeous mirrored compact that comes with a retractable lip brush.
The shades in the palette a range of shades and finishes:
- 1993 - Comfort Matte.
- Rock On - Comfort Mate.
- 714 - Mega Matte.
- Disturbed - Comfort Matte.
- Conspiracy - Metallized.
Like the original Vice lipstick shades, the formula is richly pigmented and the apply beautifully with a creamy feel, despite the matte finishes. I think the range of shades is really nice, though I do feel it is perhaps missing a pink-er shade, however, the palette is a standout and perfect for a party pout! The great thing about lipsticks in a pan like this is that you can customise the shades and create your own colour by blending two lipsticks together!
The palette comes with a strong plastic flap over the shades to ensure they say in place and that the mirror remains lipstick free. Although a palette, it is quite compact and easy to carry out for touchups when out and about. The Vice lip brush included in the palette definitely earns itself a mention as it works fantastically at providing an opaque and clean application to the lips.
The MECCA20 x Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Palette is available for $46 from MECCA stores and online for a limited time.
