MECCA CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE - 2017
MECCA have some amazing Christmas offerings this year, from great beauty sets to single palettes and more.
This holiday season, they've collaborated with 21 year old Claudia Moodoonuthi for their packaging. It features rich colours paired with metallic gold and MECCA'S iconic pink .
My pick of the Urban Decay Naked palettes has to be the Naked Heat which features gorgeous warm rich tones in matte, shimmer and metallic finishes that I think would look amazing on the eyes this party season. Another I would recommend is the Naked Smoky palette as it is being discontinued. Upon swatching, you can see that it includes some stunning blues, purples, silvers, neutrals and more, making it quite wearable.
I've been collecting Hourglass palettes for a few years not and I haven't tried anything I didn't love. They've recently released their Ambient Metallic Strobe Lighting Palette in Australia recently and it is stunning. Used wet or dry, it gives a spectacular glow to the skin. I'd also recommend their other powder palettes.
For those that are hard to buy for, a gift card is perfect as they're able to pick out exactly what they like/want. The MECCA gift cards come beautifully packaged and with a complimentary 30ml To Save Face Superscreen Sunscreen.
For travel, mini sets like the one featured are perfect as they include hair care and body care minis that are perfect to pack with you when on a trip. They have a Men's Kit and Holiday Kit this season. They look and smell great, and are affordable, making them perfect KK gifts.
For lipstick lovers, Urban Decay have packaged their holiday lip palettes with Patrick Nagel's artwork. Each of the three mirrored palettes features 5 Vice lipstick shades in different finishes and a handy lip brush. I have a review and swatches of the similarly formatted UD X MECCA 20 lip palette here. They've also released a Vice Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette which features 12 shades - 6 metal shades paired with 6 matching matte shades.
Stila's liquid lipsticks are highly rated and this season, they've released two trio sets - cool and warm toned which feature some of their best selling shades.
Too Faced have packaged their Under The Kissletoe The Ultimate Liquified Lipstick Set in a fun, bright metallic pink packaging. It contains four different Melted Lipsticks - Melted, Melted Chocolate, Melted Matte and Melted Latex in a nude, red and two pinks.
Once I spotted the Stila Eye for Elegance Liquid Eyeshadow Set, I knew I had to have it! It features 3 Glitter & Glow and 3 new Shimmer & Glow shades, in famed colours like Kitten and Twig. These shadows are absolutely stunning and provide a shimmery, glittery eye that is party perfect.
NARS have some great mini sets every year. One of my favourites is the Man Ray Love Triangles which feature a mini blush and lipstick, packaged in black and gold. There are five different shade sets, so there's something to suit everyone.
My pick from Smashbox's offerings this year is the Drawn In. Decked Out. Travel Primer Set, which features 3 minis of their famed primers and primer water to help your makeup stay in place this hot holiday season.
Lanolips is a classic that is loved by many. This Christmas, they've repackaged their The Ultimate Strength Hand Duo in holiday packaging. The set features a rose and lemon hand cream. Perfect for those who need a little TLC for their hands.
