Hi today I am going to write about Maybelline Neutraliser Instant Age rewind eraser dark circle treatment concealer review. That is quiet a name Maybelline. I have reviewed the Maybelline instant age rewind concealer in Honey, earlier on my blog. Today I am focusing on Maybelline instant age rewind concealer Neutraliser.

How to cover dark circles has been a log journey for me. Just when I thought that I learnt how to conceal dark circles, came along the highlighter and contour trend, which I did like quiet a lot, highlight and contour add depth and dimension to the face, and help enhance your features. But for someone who has deep dark circles to cover them up and do a full on highlight under the eyes is a bit difficult.
Maybelline instant age rewind concealer neutraliser is now available in India. You can purchase it at Nykaa.com . Its so reasonably priced. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer Neutraliser price is INR 650.
Maybelline concealer neutraliser
Maybelline Neutraliser Instant Age rewind eraser dark circle treatment concealer comes in a plastic tube packaging with a sponge applicator. You need to twist the bottle to disperse the product on to the sponge, and then you can apply the concealer directly from the tube or you can take it on a brush and apply it. If you are using it on others its best to use a clean brush.
maybelline insatant age rewind concealer is available in four shades on Nykaa. My concealer shade in Maybelline age rewind is Honey, but Maybelline age rewind in neutraliser is marketed more as a color correcting and brightening concealer. What that means is the Maybelline neutraliser is more yellow toned that will help cancel the darkness underneath the eyes and also help brighten up the under eye area.

Since its a yellow toned concealer it will suit olive and warm undertones and will not be flattering at all if you have cool undertone. I have deep under eye dark circles and I always have to color correct, and then apply a darker concealer to cover the darkness underneath the eyes. But once I do that I need to go in with another concealer to brighten up the under eye area, basically a concealer I can highlight and brighten the under eye area after color correction and concealing.

This is where the neutraliser comes in, after I apply my concealer ( Kiko Full Coverage concealer read review here ) I take this Maybelline Instant age rewind concealer neutraliser and swipe it under my eyes, and on the bridge of the nose, my cupid’s bow, my forehead and also along my laugh line, to highlight my face.
The coverage is medium, its not fully opaque and quiet honestly that is how I like my brightening concealer, because I have to color correct, then apply a concealer and then go on top with a brightening concealer, not if all the layers are thick and fully pigmented it becomes heavy under the eyes, I like my base concealer to be pigmented, which conceals my dark circles and color corrector, the brightening concealer I prefer it to be of medium coverage. Another good option for a brightening concealer is Maybelline Fit me.
Coming back to the Maybelline instant age rewind concealer in neutraliser, it has medium coverage but it blends beautifully and the color is just so perfect for light to medium Indian skintone. This however will not work for extreme skin tones, be it light or dark, on lighter skintone it will make the under eye area dull and more noticeable adn on dark skintones it will pull ashyness because its not very pigmented, so the darkness will peak through. Maybelline Neutraliser Instant Age rewind eraser dark circle treatment concealer is best suited for fair to medium skintones, I would say NC 30 to NC 40 , if you fall in eother side of the spectrum of this color range this isnt the ideal brightener for you.

The way I like to use it is, I apply it over my concealer not quiet taking it to the lower lash line. and then I let it sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then using a beauty sponge I pat it into the skin with very little pressure. The coverage is medium so the concealer sheers outs a bit , if you let it sit on the skin for a while you can deposit more pigment and also it absorbs into the skin better without being moved. Try it once with any concealer, it works.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer Neutraliser
The color is a bit intimidating at first but like I said it sheers out so its not that daunting, but it wouldnt work for deeper skintones, if you are nay darker than me then it isnt the ideal brightening concealer for you. This is a color I wouldnt use unless I am doing a full glam look, because it will brighten up the under eye are and other parts where its applied as a cream highlighter, so to balance out the face you would need to do contouring. So Maybelline Instant age rewind concealer neutraliser is for my full glam days.
