Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow in Orange Review & Swatches

Hello everyone,Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. It is the last month of the year and the best of course. It is that month when I love shopping for clothes, make up shoes because we celebrate Christmas. Coming to today's post I shall be talking about the newest and cutest launch by Maybelline India which is the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow range (yes WOW with a W). Maybelline always comes up with new and exciting launches every now and then especially when it comes to lip products. If you remember I also  had reviewed the Baby Lips Spiced up Lip Balms in Spicy Cinnamon & Tropical Punch a while ago you may check the review here I have been using the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow in Orange for a week now and I will tell you my experience of this product. They are available in 5 shades:

The packaging is the cutest. The packaging and the body of the lip balm is color coded according to the shade you get which is so cool. Most colors as they claim are candy colors which means they are bright and fun & it reflects in the packaging.  It looks cute to carry around and is travel friendly as well.


The lip balm comes in a chubby stick format which is my favorite type of packaging. The lip balm twists up and down like any other lip balm would. I would best describe the shade as a glossy orange lip balm with no shimmer in it. It glides smoothly on the lips and being a chubby stick with a pointed tip gives you so much precision for application. The lip balm makes your lips soft & smooth - now I do not have terribly chapped lips hence I cannot say that it did not work for me it definitely did but those who have crusty & chapped lips would have to exfoliate before application. The color fades off after 3 to 4 hours but the moisturizing part still remains on the lips and also a faint tint which I have no problem with. The only con I find with this lip balm is the quantity provided - it is only 2 gm compared to their original baby lips which is priced much lesser and comes with 4gm of product. Having said all of the above I love it and I am using it every single day since I received it - perfect for everyday wear for office and even for college students.
