Marshall's Beauty Finds: M.A.C Cosmetics Look in a Box Sun Siren Face Kit

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Shopping at Marshall's can be extremely hit and miss. Even if you find something you like, you have to worry about it being opened and damaged. Sometimes, though, you can find hidden gems such as this M.A.C. set. This kit is a good one: it has two eyeshadows, a blush, a lip pencil, lipstick, gloss, and a blush brush.

The eyeshadows included in this kit are called Peach to the Beach (satin finish) and Texture, which is a velvet shadow. Peach to the Beach is a very, very light peach and Texture is a matte warm brown. I have used both shades the last two times I have done my makeup and like them both.

The blush is called This is Paradise. It is a bright coral with a frost finish. Don't let that scare you, though. It doesn't make you look like a disco ball and it gives a beautiful flush of color to the cheeks. This blush combined with the lip products is basically summer goals. Each of the lip products is a stunning shade of vibrant coral. The lip pencil is called Lasting Sensation, which I think is exclusive to this set. I'm not a fan of lip liners in general, but this one is pretty nice. It has good color payoff and it applies without any tugging or dryness. The Amplified Lipstick is in the shade Vegas Volt, which I remember liking when the color originally launched. It also very pigmented and opaque. It also feels hydrating.

If you happen to see this set at Marshall's or TJ Maxx, it is worth buying. It was $39.50 and I think it had been $54. You can easily create a fun, summer look using all of these products. I have even heard that some people are finding Guerlain and Marc Jacobs Beauty products, so keep an eye out!
