March seems to have been the month when I found plenty of favourites so I apologize if this post is a long 'un! This is probably because I spent so much time cooped up in my room writing my dissertation during the month of March and in turn ended up playing around with more products, as well as a few new purchases during the month. I'll split the products up so it isn't too much for you to take in one go!
Skincare This month I have been changing up my skincare routine, concentrating on the very important cleanse, tone and moisturise routine. My new favorite makeup remover has to be the Garnier Soothing 2 in 1 makeup remover which is great for both getting rid of all my makeup at night and giving my skin a freshen up in the morning. My new toner of choice is the Nivea Refreshing Toner which certainly does give your skin a good refresh and a really squeaky clean feeling after you have cleansed your face. The Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser is an old favorite that has made its way back into my skincare routine as it is very light but still leaves your skin feeling very moisturised and ready for makeup application or bed. Haircare My hair has had a very good month as I've definitely been paying it a lot more attention lately. With me growing my natural dirty blonde color back in and sporting an accidental ombre look (which I'm LOVING!), my hair tends to show oil a lot easier which isn't fun when your roots get as oily as mine do. To combat this, I've been using the Herbal Essences Fresh Balance Clarifying Shampoo which has been great for removing buildup and excess oil from my hair. I've recently been taking a lot more care with protecting my hair from heat and my favorite has been the Trevor Sorbie Heat Defense Blow Dry Spray. I got this little bottle in a gift set at Christmas and eventually got round to using it, with my hair feeling a lot healthier after using heat. I've still been prone to dry (and sometimes frizzy) ends and my go-to has been the Superdrug Coconut Oil which has been a godsend for making my ends feel a lot smoother and healthier. I'll be posting a full review of this very soon! Makeup There are only a couple of makeup favourites this month because I've really just been using the same things everyday. My most reached for blush has got to be Benefit Bella Bamba which is such a gorgeous watermelon pink shade with a subtle gold shimmer. My favorite lip product has been a surprising one for me as I usually shy away from anything brighter than a nude on the lips. It's Topshop Brighton Rock which is a lovely fuschia pink, and a bright shade that I've actually dared to wear quite a lot over the past month. That's progress I tell you! Nails March was such a great month for nail polish, or at least it was in my eyes! The release of the Models Own Fruit Pastel collection had me more excited than any normal person would be, and my two favourites from the collection were definitely Apple Pie and Blueberry Muffin. I now have my hands on the perfect mint and baby-blue shades and I couldn't be more ready for spring and summer. My other nail favorite has been the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in Grapefruit which is a gorgeous coral-pink shade which can also look neon in some light. The formula definitely gives you hi-shine as I don't think I've ever seen my nails look so shiny, and I can't wait to wear this bright color more in the summer.
PHEW! I'd love to know what you've all been loving this month ♥
