If you saw my Summer Polish Picks, I'm pretty sure this was one of my inclusions. It is "Dazzling Diamonds" from Mineral Fusion. I really like white polish, especially in the summer and this one is even more fun because it has a very subtle micro-shimmer to it. You see it more in the bottle than on the nails...at least in the pictures. The problem with white polishes is that they tend to be rather streaky and require a ton of coats. Well, the first time I worse this polish it wasn't bad. This time, unfortunately, it took 4 coats to get it the way I wanted. Not thrilled about that, but I should point out that it's not a streaky formula, I was just getting unevenness in the opacity. For instance, it would look opaque on most of the nail, but a bit more sheer in just one spot. I probably was just applying it too quickly and pulling the polish off near the cuticle. User error in other words! I also felt like the brush had puffed out somehow and become thicker than it started. I do have a terrible memory though so it could just be my mind playing tricks on me. Regardless, it's a pretty polish and it is manageable. It just takes a bit more work...like any white polish. "Dazzling Diamonds" actually is still better than most though! And it's a beautiful crisp clean shade for summer.
What's on your nails this week? I'd love to know!
