Manicure #1: Textures and Duo-Tones

Hello Everyone | Recently I attended one of my sister's best friend's wedding last Friday and I told myself that I was going to do my nails, but I did not :( I ended up doing it on Saturday because my family and I were going to the Walima (Desi Wedding) ((Desi=Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, etc)). To keep it short both the Nikkah and Willima were amazing. The bride was stunning and the bride's sister were beautifully dressed.





I was too lazy to do actual nail designs, so I tried to mimic the deigns look by doing different colors and textures. I used all the colors above, surprisingly. My left hands and right hand have the same designs/colors, but on different nails. In total there were five different designs. 
Textured Nail // My textures nail, seen directly above, was this silver 'liquid sand' nail polish from OPI in the color Its Frosty Outside. I actually like outcome of the polish, it is not actually that rough as it seems. Next for my base, I used OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark which is a very dark plum color pushing on to black. One of my favorites! Over that I applied China Glaze's Crackle Glaze in Tarnished Gold. I was pretty pleased with the turn-out. For some random fun (*because I live life on the edge*) I applied a gold glitter polish over one of the liquid sand nails which is Sinful Colors All About You.
Duo-Tone Nails // For one of my nails, I did a dry-brushing technique using two polishes from Julep. One is Harlow which is a emerald green with a darker blue-green tones along with green reflexes. The second is Natalia which is just a polish mixed with ruby red and emerald green reflexes. My pinky is painted with Zoya's Justine which is just a metallic nude. Then with Sinful Colors Tame Me on top which is a olive-nude with purple reflexes. Then I just used the OPI Lincoln Park After Dark to paint half of the nail.
