Makeup for Diwali: Simple and Easy Make-up Tricks to Rock This Diwali

By Anamikadbn @Anamikadbn

Somehow Diwali makes me super pumped up! Not only because of the festivity, but somehow Diwali always brings a lot of that ‘little extra’ affairs to everything which I love! Be it the cultural part of it or the festive glam up, dressing, I start planning for it since a long time. Hence, when I was actually planning for some of my make-up looks for this I just thought why not put it down? Maybe you are also like me, super excited for this Diwali, and also looking out for some quick festive glam looks!

Before going into details, let me tell you, you really don’t need 10 products to get that glam look. Just 3 products and you are good to go:

  • either a foundation or a concealer (concealer can also be used for the base makeup),

  • a lip shade: preferably wine red which rocks well in the festive season or a nude shade if you want to create that very subtle makeup look and

  • eyeliner- if you are ok with colored liners, green/blue is the best for festivity.

Let’s check out the makeup looks now:

  • Subtle Glam Look: The no-makeup makeup look or the subtle glam look is on the cards now. I absolutely love this look. Along with a gorgeous sharara or Kurti-palazzo set and big earrings, go with that nude lipstick. A sleek ponytail or a messy bun is the best pair for this look.

  • Khol Kajal Looks: For khol kajal look, all that you need is a kajal that smudges easily. Yes, you read it right! You don’t need a complete eyeshadow palette for the khol kajal look, literally. Just take a kajal, and swipe it dark multiple times and dab with your fingers, and blend well to get the look! Pair up with some heavy and gorgeous jewelry to complete the look!

  • Red diva: No matter what, red can never be off the style. A complete red attire with wine red/pinkish red lipstick, that’s all. You are just ready to rock the day!

  • Traditional Glam: It is the time to have everything matching! Match the lip shade with your attire sides, your eyeliner as blue or green (which goes well with everything), have a proper bun, and some good jhumkas! Get set go! Add up flower on the bun and let it be the icing on the cake!

This Diwali, I am pretty much set with these look-books. All of the above are glam yet easy to carry and also create! Let me know in the comment section below which one did you plan to try this time?
