Pigments -- the lost makeup product. This beauty is what I consider to be the closest thing to magic on earth, or in the makeup world if you will. They have so many colors; many finishes; and overall, are one of the most versatile products in the cosmetic universe.
Today's focus is going to be on the Mac Pigment in Naked (link). This probably one of the most popular pigments from Mac because of its natural aura.
Starting off, a bottle of this goodness is $21.00. On the website, it claims to be a Fleshy Beige with Pearl with a matte finish. It is a very natural, subtle color. However, I use this product two different ways...
The first way would be applying the color with a flat shader brush which leaves a nice tan color with a shimmer finish. I then brush the edges for a more softer look.
The second way, which happens to be my favorite ^_^ I like to apply a primer or base, then apply the eyeshadow on a loose-hair brush with long bristles. Swirling my brush in the cap to collect anything remaining. After that, I tap the brush 1-2 times and apply to the lid. I am left with a like matte nude color with a hints of glitter/sparkle.
Overall, I highly suggest everyone to purchase an eye pigment of their choice. They can be used for a very faded look for maximum vibrancy. I think the biggest turn-off for this product would be that the application can be messy because of the powder-like texture. However, with a careful hand, it can be an amazing, long lasting product. Like I said before, this is literally magic in a bottle, I pray I don't tip it over.
Thanks for reading-XOXO
