MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection Charmed I’m Sure Lipstick Review, Swatches

Hi Gals <3 I love red lipsticks and can sport them anywhere even for grocery shopping. :-P Till date I have ummm… 6 red lippies only not much! :-D So when the MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection was launched I had to grab this beauty and here is my favorite one of the lot, Charmed I’m Sure.

My Take on MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection Charmed I’m Sure Lipstick 

Packaging:  I totally adore the packaging glossy black tube with picture of the diva Marilyn Monroe. <3
Shade: It is a deep red with subtle blue undertones. Neither too dark, nor bright! It will suit all skin tones very well.

Texture: I am in head over heels in love with the texture; it’s a demi matte finish means it’s matte but creamy too. It has a subtle sheen that wears away after an hour or so and results in a true matte finish. It applies smoothly without any dragging and doesn’t settle in fines lines. My lips never felt dry with this on! Pigmentation: It’s highly pigmented and one swipe is enough to give you opaque coverage. Staying power:The staying power is fantastic. It survives a full meal. It does not bleed or transfer.

Would I recommend MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection Charmed I’m Sure Lipstick

Charmed I’m Sure is the perfect red lipstick which would suit everyone. :L I have ruby woo and I totally love it but from when I have got this one its sitting gathering dust in my drawer. :-P The texture of this lipstick makes it a total winner. And before you become sad and curse me because it was a LE, there are rumors that Marilyn Monroe collection will be relaunched again, so keep your eyes open. :P
