I was once again hooked on checking blog sales a little while ago and when I came across this lightly used beauty from MAC I knew I had to snap it up! I'm still fairly new to MAC as I've only tried one lipstick (Hue) and a paint pot (Groundwork), although both of these products quickly became staple items so it's safe to say that I love them. MAC Dollymix is a Sheertone Shimmer blush which I think is the perfect description as the color is definitely more sheer than what appears in the pan. And of course there is a nice amount of shimmer in there which is always lovely for a summer glow. In the pan Dollymix looks like a very bright pink which had me a little worried at first, but there was no need to panic as the product is quite sheer when applied which means you're left with a very pretty pink glow to the cheeks. I'd definitely take that over clown cheeks anyday! The shimmer makes this blush perfect for spring and summer as it also acts as a highlighter for the cheeks. You get 6g of product which is a fair amount for any blush lover, and the fact that you only need to use a little means this blusher will last for a long time to come I'm sure. MAC blushers are priced at £17.50 which I don't think I could justify paying, especially with the amount of blusher I already own (oops). Although it's a totally different story if I put them on my list for birthday/Christmas presents of course! What are your favorite MAC blushers?
