Hello Everyone How is the weather at you place? Here in Kolkata it has a mild nip in the air. Any how I am not able to put on my favorite matte lipsticks. Hence adding another from different finish which is very appropriate in winters. Today I am in a mood of reviewing MAC lipstick in Cream sheen finish i.e “Creme in your Coffee”.

What Mac Claims:

Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Shimmers on the street! What made M·A·C famous.

Price: 990 INR or 15 USD

Quantity: 3gm.

MAC defines “Cream in your Coffee” as mid tone pinkish brown with Creamsheen finish (permanent range).

My Take on MAC Creamsheen Lipstick –“Creme in your Coffee”:

MAC lipsticks are awesome no wonders why they are so favorite. This is my first creamsheen lipstick from MAC and I totally agree why many find it to be their IMBB shade. Muted brown when indoor and under sunlight it look more pinkish-brown with a little sheen. Absolutely perfect texture for winters. It is MAC’s permanent shades and is easily available if you are lucky; I hope you know what I mean

The texture is quite smooth and creamy. The formula keeps your lips well hydrated and don’t feel dry at all. Once applied on lips it tends to get slightly glossy due to its sheen which is quite appropriate for winters. No matter if you put any lip balm or not but this particular range wont let your lips feel chapped. Fyi. I have dry lips and I tested it both with and without lip balm. No dryness at all even after 3-4 hours.

Cream in your coffee gives semi- opaque finish, good pigmentation and can easily cover any kind of lip pigmentation in 2-3 swipes. Although, it is creamy but no bulging or smudging at all. Stay put almost for 3 hours after that you might need to re-apply. I use a nude lip pencil to line my lips first to keep the colour in place Very pretty wearable shade mostly during day time. Those who are office goers will love this soft colour.

What I like about MAC Creamsheen Lipstick –“Creme in your Coffee”:

  • The soft muted pink-brown shade of course.
  • Creamy and glossy Texture and the Semi-opaque finish.
  • Glide on lips without any tugging or pulling.
  • Very moisturizing.
  • Do not dry out lips.
  • Maintain hydration almost for 4 hours in winters which is a plus point.
  • Good staying power.
  • The classy black MAC packaging.
  • And finally the Vanilla Scent. Yummy

What I don’t like about MAC Creamsheen Lipstick –“Creme in your Coffee”:

  • Availability is the problem sometimes.
  • Nothing else that I can find.

Final Thought:

I am not into neutrals but still like few of them and love wearing them during day time. I am sure those who are into neutrals will definitely appreciate the shade.
