Lust Have It – October 2015 – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Although we’re now a few days into November, the October Lust Have It beauty box arrived today and I was actually really quite happy with its contents! The bag was jam packed this month with 7 products included – 5 were beauty products (4 being full size) and 2 were food items, which was quite interesting to see.

For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED1’ you can receive $5 off your first box!

The first product included was a deluxe sized sample of the Bioderma Sensibio Light. I’m a big fan of Bioderma’s products but dont purchase them often as they are on the pricier side so having sampled this product before, I’m really happy to have another tube as this is a lovely cream for those that suffer from dry or sensitive skin.

A brand I haven’t come across before is Flormar and this month, two products from the brand were included. The first was a Flormar Nail Polish or nail care product and I received the polish in a bright red shade. The second product included saw subscribers receive either an eyeliner, blush, eyeshadow or lip product. Included in my bag was a Glittering Star Eyeliner in a lovely plum shade that features gold glitter pigments.

The Hair and Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment is a product I’ve previously tried and will be featuring on the blog soon with another hair mask but this oil based treatment leaves the hair feeling so soft and healthy. It’s a must try!

An exciting addition to this month’s bag is the Lust Have It Highlighter Compact! I’ve had a quick swatch and it’s definitely a very natural highlighter so for those who are just getting into highlighting, this is a lovely option.

Interestingly, there were 2 food items included this month, marked as bonus products. The first was the Atkins Chocolate Candies (others may have received the Atkins Chocolate Coconut Bar) which seems just a bit odd to me as it has no connection to beauty and the second product was the Skin Magic Tea. Subscribers were supposed to have received 6 tea bags last month but only one was included so the missing 5 teabags were to be included this month but again, only one teabag has been included. I have heard that the remaining 4 bags will be coming next month.

Overall, I think that Lust Have It have stepped up this month and produced a great bag with 4 out of the 5 beauty products being full size and of lovely quality. I especially appreciate the range of new brands included in the bag. I understand the inclusion of the teabags (to make up for last month’s missing stock) but I personally just dont think food items fit in with a beauty bag and I’m sure many would not miss the exclusion of chocolates.

What are your thoughts on this month’s bag?
