Love and Grace News
First let me welcome new subscribers of Love and Grace for Christian Singles! I look forward to sharing and connecting you to even more singles inspiration in 2013! This week I wanted to give you all a sneak peak of what this New Year will bring for Love and Grace, including my upcoming interview with Mayi Dixon.
In 2013 I pray to have more interaction, offline meet ups, giveaways, and more. Why more? Because, you are not a single woman only. You love fashion, family, getting healthy, and you love God. After our girls chat about the single life, we talked about beauty, and more specifically, hair. Hey, that’s important too!
Let us not forget that life is not just about our relationship status. Let’s shift some of that focus elsewhere.
So here’s to expanding the blog, expanding our lives, and expanding the glory of God.
Coming up….
Next week I have the honor of speaking with Mayi Dixon from the blog talk radio show, “The Heart and Soul of Relationships”. We will discuss celibacy in the 21st century. Is celibacy old-fashioned or is it still necessary for our physical, emotional, and spiritual health?
Mrs. Dixon is a licensed Associate Professional Counselor and the creator and host of the show. When she invited me to be a guest I was thrilled. Promoting sex “after” you say I do, is not something many are gutsy enough to do in this day and time. Premarital sex is the norm and it is difficult to go against the grain of our society.
Celibacy is not the most popular message of the day, but it is a conversation that we must have. There are single men and women who hunger for information and encouragement on this issue.
I commend Mrs. Dixon and others like her for pouring information into the mainstream that is healthy, real, and beneficial for our entire well being.
I invite you to join Mayi and me, live, next Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 at 12:30 pm eastern time.
Next blog post: Glorifying God with Your Single Life (Thank you for this prompt Mia!)
I love you all very much and until next time….
