LOTUS Safe Sun- Daily Multifunction Sunblock- Spf 70 PA+++- Review

By Megha Saundaryasansar @saundaryasansar

Winters and Summers, we hardly feel the need of sunscreen but sunscreens not only protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays but also has anti- ageing benefit associated with it.

My dermatologist always insists using a good sunscreen along with a good moisturiser for keeping your skin healthy, young and protected. Although i find myself little lazy in terms of doing make-up but always make sure to follow a proper skin care regime.

As you all know Lotus Herbals has been a pioneer and leader in herbal sun protection in Indian Market. I am using this Sunblock from +Lotus Herbals , anti ageing with tint, since long and must say a fan of this.

So here is my review on Lotus Safe Sun - Daily Multifunction Sunblock with spf 70 PA+++.

Product Description- as on site

Background : A revolutionary, preservative - free, light weight formulation containing potent herbal extracts with multiple benefits

Ingredients : Avocado & Carrot extracts have healing properties that soften, smoothen & nourish skin. The easy to blend texture gives non sticky & clean feel

How to use : Apply Safe Sun Daily Multi-Function Sunblock liberally & evenly on face & exposed parts (body, neck, arms, legs etc.) before exposure to sun.

Comes in bright chrome yellow squeezy tube and screw cap. Packed in same coloured carton box with instructions and information about the product printed.

Packing is quite good and sturdy for travel.

INR 515 for 80 gms. You can buy it online on Amazon, Flipkart or on retail counters too. Easily available.

As claimed it is free of Preservative and also contains carrot oil and Avocado extracts along with sunscreen components like titanium dioxide too.

it is tinted (comes in a single shade of tint) with an emulsion kind of consistency but is not sticky or greasy. Has a mild and pleasant fragrance. Spreads well and you need 2-3 drops for your face and hence the quantity is enough to last long.

The tint shade is kind of universal for indian skin and matches perfectly with my skin too, so no grudges about shade. On application it gives white cast which fades few minutes later.

Yes, texture- it gives a little oily shine after 4-5 hours which you probably need to adjust with compact in summers (although i dont do that as i do not like compacts), for winters its perfectly fine.

Now the best part, not only it protects but also hides minor (read it only 'minor')skin imperfections like fine lines, light spots and open pores too. Also it never broke me out and never aggravated my skin concerns like white heads or something. it protects well and you need not reapply it till next 3-4 hours even if you are outdoors. spf 70 and PA +++ is a pretty good combo for scorching summers and works well in others seasons too.

It forms a good base for make up as well. I like the way it imparts a subtle glow to my face and my face is photoready too with it as i hate heavy layering foundations. Its equivalent to a normal BB cream alhtough not placed like in the market. A herbal sunblock with anti ageing benefits and that too tinted is an awesome combination.

its already my second tube & I do not find any reason for not repurchasing.

Overall Highly Recommended Sunblock for all seasons and suitable all skin types. Not heavy on your pocket too.

Have you tried this and what are your views then?
