Just sitting here watching Sunday countdown and Adam Schefter just said the NFL is looking at a six figure fine for Tomlin, for the Steelers and loss of a draft pick. If they are going to take a draft pick, it wouldn't be a late pick, it would probably be rounds 1-3. We won't have a third anyway, except maybe a comp. pick.
I think it would be TOTAL BS, if a draft pick was taken and I can't believe this is even being talked about. I believe it said a suspension wasn't being considered. I know there's been alot of talk of whether it was on purpose or not, but shouldn't this whole thing be to punish Tomlin and not the organization??? Didn't a Jets special teams coach purposely trip a player last year and all that was done was a suspension?
And if the Steelers get fined a hefty sum and lose a draft pick, what actions if any are taken against Tomlin? Especially if we go on to a 7-9 or 8-8 record?
