L'Oréal Paris kept us wanting more the last year with their continuous launches of new products. I am sure nobody forgot their Moist Matte Lipsticks. Even before we think of anything else, the brand has come up with a new collection of lipsticks called the Pure Reds. There are  shades of lipsticks with the names dedicated to their brand ambassadors which include our very own Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor and Freida Pinto. I really loved the entire collection. I have the Sonam Kapoor's shade named as "Pure Garnet" lipstick.

The Shade: Below pic was taken with the flash and it looks more like a red but in reality it is a deep Burgundy red. I don't know if it is universally flattering but it definitely suits the girls with medium to dark skintones.

My Take:
To start off, when I first saw the bullet the shade seemed scary. I mean, I never owned a deep red color and never wanted to wear one too. I always felt that this kind of shade is meant for the older women and not the youngsters. But once I wore this, Boom! That's when I understood that this shade is just so good and brightens up the face instantly.
It is very easy to apply and the formula is not so dry. But I do suggest you to exfoliate your lips before applying. Also, beauties with very dry lips can apply lip balm beneath.
It stayed on for 5-6 hours. It even survives heavy snacks and drinks. But the meals may take away some lipstick off the lips. But the pigmentation is so good that it leaves a beautiful tint behind.

LÓreal-Color Riche Pure Reds Collection Lipsticks are the best 7 shades of RED lipsticks. You can choose your choice of red lipstick. The shade "Pure Garnet"is universally flattering shade that instantly brightens up the complexion. This shade is the best when you are in mood for full face makeup or it goes the best with simple eye makeup. Lasts long and doesn't smudge. Doesn't dry out the lips.Price is the only con but pigmentation wise,a single swipe is enough so it will last really long.
