Lorde Rolling Stone Magazine Look FAIL + Hubby's Hangover Tee

By Shubha Juyal @shubhajuyal

So, I thought, why not a LOTD. "Team" was playing on VH1, so another idea popped in (sadly), "Hey! Lorde!!", "I'll do a Lorde inspired look". Anyways, the look failed miserably. No excuses. I really am awful in copying makeup by simply looking at someone in a magazine or on screen. But, not going to give up. This one was not a great success, but will definitely try and try again. Perseverance girl!!!Worst part, could not take one decent click. Man I need to find my tripod stand. ..and what's with the lights in my house..!!  **calms down**

We were to go for a dinner/get together at a friend's place, so for that I did muted the intensity of lipccolour. I roughly curled my hair with my Braun 1 inch curling wand. Also, the color of my hair, infact the whole picture quality is so  because they were taken under yellow incandescent lights. So here is the(attempted) look!
Did not have a black tee, so managed with a brown one, that too hubby's favorite Hangover Tee!

Jacket - ASOS
Lips - Estee Lauder's Pure Colour Long Lasting Lipstick in Plum Couture, as I did not want to go too dark with the lips to keep them wearable for a simple get together.
Face - Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser, Maybelline in Peachy Sweetie, no contouring.
Eye - L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt. No eyeshadow. Forgot applying Mascara *facepalm*!!

These all are feeble attempts as I couldn't find my tripod and the damn camera is freaking heavy. Also the reason for me not smiling :P . I was concentrating so hard to not drop the camera!! But that works here as Lorde apparently never smiles..  :P

I couldn't show you the complete look, but to tell, I was wearing my black Zara leggings underneath and Black Booties from 23Bacio.com
Until next time girls!!xoxo
