LOOK WHAT I BOUGHT: Chi Chi, Face of Australia & Illamasqua

I love catching up with friends, especially Beauty Bloggers because I love to know what product they use and recommend and what events they’re attending or going to.

Over the course of a few hours we had a look through Priceline, Myer and through Gloss Accessories.

Although there were discounts on all of my purchases today, here’s the damage from today…

Chi Chi NUDES palette
I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been searching for this palette because in all of the Target, Myer and Gloss stores they’re never there, so I couldn’t believe my luck when I finally found this.
It’s quiet well known that this is a deliberate dupe for the Urban Decay NAKED palette and although they’re not exactly perfect shades they’re still very pigmented, soft and amazing… just without the price tag. So, if you still don’t have the Urban Decay palette, give this one a go. It’s the closest you’ll get to it.

Face of Australia Matte Eye Primer
This was on my Face of Australia wishlist. I love thick eye primer that is a little tacky and not greasy. I’ve heard some great things about this primer so it was enough to give this one a go. It looks a little light for my skin tone, but I’ll make it work for me somehow.

Face of Australia Lip Liner Mechanical in ‘Pink’
Another product on my Face of Australia. I am always far too lazy for sharpen my liners so this is what originally got me interested in this product. I’ve heard it matches really well with M.A.C’s ‘Chatterbox’ lipstick so I’m looking forward to teaming them up. I think it actually might be a little too like for Chatterbox, but that’s only based on swatches.

Face of Australia Mineral Therapy Illuminator in ‘Angel Blush’
Again on my wishlist, this is a product I’ve been searching FOREVER for because they’re always sold out in Priceline and Kmart, particularly this shade.
I’ve never really been a fan of powder highlighters so I’ve only ever been interested in cream versions instead. This will be a product that will last me a lifetime. Because it’s so highly pigmented you only need a tiny amount of it to cover an area the size of your face.

Illamasqua’s Medium pencil in ‘Titivate’
This is my favorite lip liner of all time. OK, you can use it for a lot more things other than the lips but I’ve only ever used this for lips. It’s perfect on its own and when added with a shiny lip product, I often add Revlon Lip Butter in ‘Sweet Tart’ to add moisture and depth to my lips and it works beautifully.

I also bought a mini pack of Swisspers Cucumber makeup wipes for my handbag, which is pretty standard and not really a big deal or worth mentioning.

Tea and I also went to David Jones and had a look around the beauty section. We came across the Agent Provocateaur perfumes and fell in love. I am obsessed with the L’Agent perfume and even got to try their Diamond Dust perfume which apparently had crushed diamonds in it. It is highly concentrated with shimmer in it so use sparingly and avoid spraying it on the face because you’ll just come out looking like a disco ball.

These are next on my hitlist…

How did you spend your Saturday?
