Look of the Day: Trying Out Some New Products

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone! If you happened to see my collective haul post yesterday, you know that I have a lot of new things to try. Some are actually new and others are just new to me.  Obviously I had to try some of these goodies out today, so I slapped together a quick and easy peasy look.  I didn't have any plans other than maybe going to CVS and getting dinner for my mom and grandma.
I am going to indicate the new things I am trying out with an asterisk, and my opinion out to the side.

Prep:
Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser (good so far)*
Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment (good so far)*
Chantecaille Rose de Mai Facial Oil sample (good so far)*. Can I just say that I really don't want to love this product? It is $185 for 1 oz. Yikes.
Mac Prep+Prime Skin Base*
Products Used:
Kat Von D High Voltage Eye Primer
Essence 3-D Eyeshadow in Irresistible Choco Cupcake * (not sure, but seems good)
NYX Slide On Eye Pencil in Jet Black* (loving it)
CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara* (loving it)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Soft Brown
It Cosmetics CC+ Eye in Fair
Almay Wake Up Makeup Foundation in Ivory mixed with two drops of CoverFX Custom Cover Drops in P20
Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation
theBalm Cindy-Lou-Manizer
M.A.C Studio Sculpt Bronzing Powder in Golden Rinse
Urban Decay Ozone Multipurpose Pencil
M.A.C Steam Up lipstick

The duo I used today is on the right.

Golden Rinse.

Steam Heat

Cindy Lou-Manizer

So far I am liking everything. And Steam Heat ended up being much more flattering than I anticipated.  I'll be back soon with a review of my new favorite eyeliner (its cheap, too) and what I got at the CVS beauty sale.
Also, I am going to try to post more looks of the day. Is that something you guys would be interested in?
