We at Long Awkward Pause have a great October planned for you! Speaking of October, be sure to grab your tickets to the L.A.P. Annual Halloween Costume Party. This years event will be held at Blogdramedy’s house. Some of the great things I have heard happening is a costume contest, a dunk tank, Halloween karaoke, corn hole, a poker room, skeet shooting, wine tasting bar, whack-a-mole, a Frankenstein made of cheese, a meet and greet with James Franco, and so much more!

The first topic this month deals with a subject that is near and dear to every bloggers heart; the picture prompt. For those not familiar with the picture prompt, it’s when you take a nice picture of something, and then write about it.
But as you know, this is L.A.P., the brightest of the bright, the most talented of the most talented, the drunkest of the drunk, the very tip of the top writers (that we could afford) in the industry…so pictures of birds and barns and flowers is way too easy. We had to challenge our staff and it also being October and Halloween, make the pictures a little bizarre and scary.
