Lipton Iced Tea Debuted New Mint Julep Recipes for Race Day

By Glasgow Skinner/ My Life On And Off The Guest List @guestlistblog

We're just a few days behind Derby Day but since no one really needs a reason to enjoy delicious cocktails, we had to share these delicious Lipton Iced Tea Mint Julep cocktail recipes. You're already familiar with the famed tea brand and their delicious variety of hot and iced teas, which includes: black, green, herbal, fruit, matcha, and benefit teas. This year, Lipton Iced Tea partnered with Eron Plevan, head mixologist at Louisville-based Gold Bar to combine these two popular beverages in brand-new Mint Julep cocktail mashups to spice up your celebration.

Naturally, we miss the days of heading to the racetrack but because of Covid-19, we had to celebrate at home. While we wish we could have shown off our new fascinator, we didn't mind enjoying some classic American drinks, Iced Tea and Mint Juleps, at home. Although Race Day has come and gone, these delicious libations will satisfy you all summer long. Each cocktail is made with one of a different flavor of Lipton's bottled iced teas. They include Lipton Herbal Iced Tea Strawberry + Mint, Lipton Green Tea Watermelon, and Lipton Herbal Orange Blossom Iced Tea . On their own, three delicious flavors are perfect for unwinding, especially after a hot summer day. Let's dive right into these cocktails, shall we?
